“When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.”
A day after hiking up onto a bear in Yosemite I had a little more comfortable encounter with a male cinnamon black bear. While driving the upper back country on our way out of Yosemite National Park we went on a little used back road this bear walked out in front of the vehicle. I rolled down the back window and took a couple of shots as the bear slipped through the shadows of the forest.
Visiting Amboseli National Park. Most memorable was all the elephants and the efforts being made to protect them.
I took one of my spring trips down to Shiloh National Military Park a couple of weeks ago to see the new eagle chicks. There are two eaglets this year. I did not see them, but their mother sat on this limb for a long time protecting her nest and her young. Witnessing amazing animals like bald eagles in the wild make spending time in nature worth every minute.
